Ok, I want to put this out there up front - this post is not about fashion. If you are looking for fashion, skip down to the bottom for a little shopping update. Phew. Ok, I recently started getting my period again on a regular basis after 4+ years of pregnancy and nursing followed by another baby and more nursing. As an additional twist, I got an IUD which is great overall but seems to make everything more intense. Needless to say, I feel a little like a 13 year old trying to figure the whole thing out. I recently stumbled across something called The Diva Cup which sounds pretty interesting. It's a re-useable menstrual cup that collects everything and makes it so you don't need tampons or pads. According to the company, it will save me money, save the environment and be more convenient. If that's all true, you had me at hello. I am placing my order through drugstore.com now! (I am in no way connected to this company but am just very intrigued by the online reviews.) I promise an update in a few weeks.
Shopping Update: GiltFuse.com launched today. It's the newest in the line of online sample sales. The offerings are generally priced less than $50. I wasn't overlly impressed with today's designers (the clothes are not for moms IMO) but will be keeping a close on the site. I think the potential for great deals is really high!
