I usually only get one shot to look in the mirror all day long as I rush through my day. I have two requirement for my makeup: it must last all day and it must serve multiple purposes. Zara is one of those stores I really, really wish had an online store. It's a solid store with good deals and good design. Influenced by European fashion, it manages to follow the current trends closely and for very reasonable prices. Sadly, they don't sell online right now. However, I do see their things on Ebay including this great maxi dress. Buy it now for just $59!

I have a love affair with my iPhone. I think I can safely say it's been life changing for me. I love being able to access my email from anywhere. I love being able to surf the internet. I recently attended my very first Twitter party. It was thrown by Lands' End all about their women's swimsuit collection. It was eye opening in more ways than one. First, Twitter parties are pretty fun. It was interesting to chat with other moms all across the country -- even if it was about swimsuits. I didn't really understand Twitter when I first signed up but this party on my couch really made me understand some of the potential. But back to clothes...I learned a lot about swimsuit fit! Lands's End has really gone the extra mile to develop an extensive line of swimsuits to fit every need (they call it "anxiety zones"): minimize tummy-waist, enhance bust, minimize bust, lengthen legs, enhance waist, minimize hips & thighs, and enhance waist. My midsection needs some major rehabilitation and I thought two pieces were a distant memory, but the advice of their experts is making me take a second look at tankinis. Also, the other women swore up and down that their swimsuits last more than one season.

LL Bean is running a big sale right now. Most of their clothes are too shapeless for me but they do have two good swimsuit cover-ups on great sale. Cute and easy to throw on with good coverage. I would lean toward the skirt but the pants would give nice coverage for sun protection.
